Plate Full of Home

A Plate Full of Home is a photography project working in collaboration with Lithuanian artist Kotryna Ula Kiliulyte, Glasgow Museums and Küche's collective of multicultural cooks. Inspired by Kotryna's 'Away Home' project, a Plate Full of Home takes inspiration from the Kelvingrove Museum's traditional Dutch still-life paintings as well as the emotional hunger and the adaption of food traditions of  Libyan, Algerian, Indonesian, Pakistani, Kurdish and Nigerian cooks, all of whom are making home in Glasgow.

When it is safe to do so we will be looking to launch the Plate Full of Home collection at Kelvingrove Museum for the public to engage with.
